Depending on how the kids behave tomorrow I may get a chance to throw my truck on the rollers.

With what's in my sig what settings have you found to work well for the maximum HP. I'm hoping for a dyno sheet over 500.

My TST is an older one with the late twins programming in it.

I am thinking Smarty Revo on level 8 with a bit of TST possibly.

load up the TNT and go for broke

software 7 raise the timing and pressure and wear heavy boots :-laf

Have fun

I dynoed last year on Dave Dunbar's dyno before the Revo and TNT tunes came out. My best run was Smarty #9 Beta 4. 4, TST 4/1 standard tune, TS MP-8 100%. This was on the stock CP3 and injectors, and netted 558 h. p. and 987 torque.

do you have a rail pressure gauge? my magic combo on the street (which is far different from the dyno) is TNT-R on #9, TST on 4/5. Still holds good rail pressure on power level 5, but doesn't pull any harder

this is on the standard TST program. running either of the twins programs would dump too much fuel early and I'd lose rail pressure

NO RP gauge.

I've heard stacking with the new Revo and TNT doesn't do much for most people.

trying to dial in a common rail without a rail pressure gauge is an exercise in futility IMO

might not to much for most people, but with my baby size injectors, the truck picks up like crazy as the TST gets turned up from power level 0 to 4

Just yesterday I was turning up the torque. rail came up quicker and held higher than before!

so far I've gotten it to 5 on torque without any negatives. gonna try 6 on the way home.

running the rail on the Smarty on wild makes it hit harder and hold better, but the sustained pressure at cruise doesn't sit well with me :(

Since you are stuck with the TST 05tt and all default settings on the TST I would do basically what you said. Run Smary #8, Timing #2, Rail Pressure #2, then run TST about 3/0 and see what you get. You might be able or need to run TST 2/0 or 2/1 to get best numbers.

Currently I have this loaded Revo Level 9, RP 2, TM 1, TQ 2 is loaded.

Not sure if I will drop to Level 8 and use the TST or just go all Smarty.

I didn't like the TNT when I used it so I am back to the standard Revo.

another thing I've found with my truck is that I enjoy driving it more and more as the torque management is turned down.

I am currently down to stock torque management and I have no plans on turning it up.

I do wish I had an on-the-fly rail pressure adjustment. Might have to put an MP8 on the truck eventually

Forrest, why do you like the TM on stock compared to mild or moderate for daily driving?? I am new to the Smarty and am trying to figure out what all of the different do...

Thanks,

Louis

With the Smarty on 9 I made 463/924

I kicked in the TST on 2X1 and made 522/1057, but I pegged my EGT gauge to 1,600. Only saw 1,250 with just Smarty.

This was on a heavy Mustang Dyno. Simulated load of 10,000lbs I believe.
