TST transmission Gauge install

I am in need of some quick info from those of you who have the TST transmission gauges. Is the sending unit have a 1/8inch or is it a 3/8inch?



It is a question asked by Fred at Desert Diesel. I am in the process of purchasing a cooler line with a sender port and the line has a 3/8NPT.

How big is your sending unit? The standard wrench pad on 1/8" pipe stuff is 1/2".

Called Massdiesel this am and ordered the line so it looks like I am going that route. Perhaps in the future I will also measure the temp in the pan but that is at least 6 months down the line. Massdiesel should be calling me back with the exact cost plus shipping. Perhaps this weekend or next will be the big install. Good luck with your install.

Thanks I was thinking the same thing in the future adding another guage and have the probe in the pan. But for now I will atleast have the one in the line. Hope to install my pyro,trany and fuel guage this friday or sat. Ill let ya know.
