My TST is acting up for the third time now. I have sent it for reprogramming twice, and each time i get it back a new problem arises with the same old codes. My new problem is this, after driving for about 15min the PMCR shuts down 1 and 2 injector, so the truck runs like crap. The farther you drive it the worse it gets. In fact you can unplug the injector harness at the 1,2 injector plug and there is no difference in the way the truck runs. What do i do? the CEL light is on with the same old codes again, po336,p0341 and p2138. I love this box when it works, but i have so much trouble with it i want to burn it. Any idea's...
 
I've heard a lot of good things about the guy at TST. Mark I believe is his name? I would imagine that he would be willing to trade out the box? Maybe the box has a dead short somewhere on the board or something? I would think he/they would be willing to send you another one to try in trade for yours? Maybe? Never hurts to ask. Sorry I can't be of more help. Sounds like fouled electronics somewhere.
 
yeh, sounds to me like something is up with the box. Call and talk to Mark. He doesn't hesitate standing behind his product.
 
I have just spoken with Greg at TST, and i must say they are awesome to deal with. They are sending me out a new injector harness to try as they believe one of the diodes is acting up under hot conditions. So i will keep you posted as we go along. Sure would be nice to get this going again.
 
lmills, have you dyno'ed your trucK? I've been looking at that combo for mine... .

Yeh, but I had issues the day I dynoed mine. I had made a couple changes just before the dyno event and when the time came I wasn't able to dyno over level 6. Every time I tried levels 7, 8 and 9 The truck popped and missed. It turned out to be lack of fuel delivery. I have that issue taken care of and will be redynoing in 3 weeks with more results. So far the best was 439/918 on level 6 with the pressure box on the 100 setting. The truck dynoed 236/440 stock. So I have a gain of just over 200 hp on those settings

Did they try to charge you for the new harness? I had mine for less than two weeks and on the truck for about 4 days. Had problems with a single miss issue and this morning Greg told me if I wanted to try a new harness he would ship one out but he would CHARGE ME for it. Brand new box with problems and I have to PAY for parts and freight to make it function correctly? Not in this lifetime. Box is on it's way back for a refund...
 
They did suggest i had to pay for the harness, but this was to ensure i sent the old one back. Which i can totally understand. I see you are running a Va and an Edge. How does that work? Have you ever dynoed it. Sorry for your trouble, TST is a great company to deal with and have reason's for everything. Maybe you should have sent the unit back and just asked for another.
 
what did you do to solve your fuel issues/ I am runnning a Fass but my truck still missfire's on the higher settings. I am curious how to fix this problem. What else can we do with these trucks? They seem very hard to get power out of them.
