Best Tire Preasure Guage Recommendations?

Alarm systems

So I was checking out the camper and getting it ready for the season. Checked tire sidewall for correct psi and here is what it says. Max load 1100 lbs. @ 35 psi cold. Is 35 psi the most air pressure I can put in them? The camper weighs 4,400 lbs. dry. I know a bunch of the weight will be transfered to the truck, but that still does not seem like enough pressure for the tires. It is a dual axle camper with Goodyear Marathons load range B. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

Load range B are basically car tires, so those numbers sound correct to me. Assuming that the trailer was at gross weight, and that 10% of the weight was on the hitch, then each tire would have a 1000 lb load, which is 10% below the rating. Not much margin, but it should work. I'd upgrade the tires next time you change them.

Most TTs come from the factory with tires right at the load limit. When you replace go to a c or d rated, c should be enough. My tt tires require 50psi now. The bad part of the fact tires is they are so close to maxed out they tend to come apart long before the tread shows wear. More of a problem if you tow fast, 65-75.
