Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Tube rows on the intercoolers

I was in an accident and the intercooler lost a mounting bracket so the body shop got me a new cooler. After they had ordered it I heard the newer coolers 24v were better, 10 hp. gain and lower egts over my 12v 96 cooler, as seen on a dyno (different truck) Well good news is I think I got the newer cooler, it has 18 rows instead of the 20+ that are on my old cooler, so I am wondering if this is the newer cooler? Wondering if you guys over hear in the 24v forum know. Appreciate it.
