Anybody run one? Was it easy to install? Any vibrations? Does it sit level? I am thinking of ordering a kit because it is priced write. My past experience with tuff country has been real good. Thanks to all!

I had a 4" Tuff Country lift on my 2000 Ford F250 and hated the thing (I know, shame on me and yes I learned my lesson). To me it always sat *** end down. Had the blocks switched out for taller ones and it helped, but to my eye it never sat "level" I have a friend that has a 6" Tuff lift on his 72 Dodge and he seems happy, but his rear springs were custom made... FWIW.

Got the 4. 5 inch tuff country lift on my 06 mega cab. Looks good, sits level. Pretty much this is purely a "looks good" kit. Truck now rides like a cattle wagon (due to the lift and Toyo M/Ts). If you plan on running your truck off road, buy the Kore. If you just want some inexpensive lift, then Tuff Country works. Because it uses block spacers above the stock coil Springs, I would imagine the front end will eventually start to sag. But overall it has worked fine for me, no complaints...

Seems thats common place for Super Duty lifts; they always seem to sit with a reverse rake.

If you used the shocks that came with the kit it will rides like a tank. Change them out for a Rancho or Bilstien and you will get your ride back. You did not change the spring rates with the Tough Country lift you just lowered every thing. My Mega rode like a cady stock and a Tank with the TC shocks. It's back to a cady now.

It rides like a cattle wagon because you have crappy shocks. Think about it..... the Tuff Country kit uses spacers front and rear so you are still riding on your stock springs. Go take Tuff Country shocks and run them on a Kore equipped truck. It will ride like a cattle wagon. The shocks will make or break any lift

I work for a dealership in Utah that installs TC, people like it, As the announcer for UROC we are sponsered by SkyJacker and they have some realy nice stuff. I run the BDS puck lift with Skyjacker Steering stabilizer with the 35 inch Toyos on Hallo wheels.

I live in Utah and I know that TC is made here and every dealership in town has two or three lifted TC trucks on their lot, Ford, Chev all of them. I feel bad for all the people that don't know any better riding around on bricks. A friend of a friend has been driving around his tank, I mean Mega Cab for 6 months with the TC shocks on it. Took one ride in mine and craped himself. Bought his lifted, chipped, piped, fender flares, Amp steps, rear view camera the works from a dealer (may be even yours). He went and spent 300 bones on shocks and is driving a new truck.

Thanks guys... I definately look into changing out the TC shocks for something (Bilstein, etc)... Want it to ride a little more caddy like. I mean, seriously, I am ******* blood after a 100 mile ride... And yes, I let some air out of those E rated Toyos as well...
