Competition Rockford, IL diesel drags!

Competition where to find pulling rules for Palmdale?

oops, I thought this was the pull down south. A big no he will not be pulling anywhere any time soon. Due to his cam being out and his truck torn apart.

Damn that sucks bad, was looking forward to a big Extreme class. Are Phil and Brandon going to be able to break away long enough to come down and watch ?

Do you know if James or even Albert will be able to make it. at this rate it only looks like we will have 3 or 4 trucks in the class. I don't think Chris is 100% yet either.

Thanks Danelle,

BBD

can't speak for Albert but I don't think James is going either. Our central valley boys have to work a lot to make a livin. I am sad though I really wanted him to pull.

Chris told me he wasnt going. :(

I meant Chris Severs I think from LA, I screwed up I thought this thread was about the big southern california event coming up... ... ... ...

What a bunch of laggers. I tell everyone I'm going to get a pull together in California with a purse - finally! I guaranteed it... Well, I hold up my end of the deal and some others can't hold up their end. And we all wonder why we can't get pulling to be more successful out here. Hey, nobody had any responsibility in this other than to show up and pull - and take home some money for goodnes sakes. Some of yas can't manage to do that. Hey, I understand that people have things going and there are some legit excuses for not being able to go to all the pulls, but when when someone says they are going to do something, they should do it. I'm doing what I said I would do, I'm paying the Extreme class, and I'm paying them good. To those of you that are making it, thanks for the support and you guys deserve the money that you ARE going to win. For those of you not coming, your loss. There is a minimum of a $2,000 purse between the two extreme classes to be had, so tell some others to come on down - its gonna be payday. The street class is going to be loaded, I was just hoping that the Extreme class would be as well. If we do this next year, maybe I will put the purse toward the street class where all the trucks are, then I could win some money Oo.

On edit: Nobody should take this post too personally, I'm just a little frustrated is all. Its going to be a great event no matter what.

Sorry that this thread got hijacked, not my intention.

i just got confirmation from a drunken Denis in NYC that Jesse (his brother) was told "hook to the sled, build some boost, hold it to the floor till it stops moving!" HAHAHAHAHA I see breakage in the Beer Wagon's future tomorrow night!

Y'all have fun and take lots of pictures! Put on a show for all my farmer friends.

RESULTS ARE IN!

BBD 300+ft full pull

PsychoStroker 270-280 (don't remember exact number)

Street:

Jesse Hickey in Denis' "Beer Wagon" ~238'

Kurt Cunningham (Ford 7. 3 PSD) ~210'

Those are the ones I heard. Jesse was pretty proud of smokin' everybody in big-bro's pickup.

Heard Jim had some sparks-a-flyin'... that can't be good.

Yea Josh, it was a good show. I've got a couple mpeg's but nowhere to host 'em, can you help me out? They aren't great from where I was standing but you get the idea. :)

depending on how big they are, sign up on www.nwbombers.com and then use the space given there to host them. I don't have much room on the places I can host.

You can email them to me at -- email address removed -- though and I'll try and find somewhere to host them.

They average 6-7 megs so I'm a little stuck. I don't know if I can even email them. Slow PC on dialup ya know.

I didn't get a picture of Jesse after that pull but let me see if I can graphically inllustrate for you:

Oo. Oo. :D :D :D :D :D :D and a :p at the Ford boys

Did I get that right fellas? :D

My MiniDV tape is in the mail to Bhaner, he said he'd try to get them up with the NWNationals vids. Has all of the Diesel and OMG classes, but not the best point of view.

Great Vids BBD.

My wife took the vids, and it was a borrowed older camera not much room on the very small memory stick. I will be buying a new camera before next saeson that's for sure. I think Psych got everybody on his camera.

Is he slackin'? We wanna see em! Oo. Or is he still having problems getting them on the web just like the Klamath pulls?

You guys sure had the crowd on their feet! I posted a link onto the racing club's board from my school and one kid asked "What was that? Was he racing the 1/8th while towing a trailer?" LOL.

Very  Scott. :-laf
