Tulsa Dyno Day

I guess we need to take a vote on the date. Anytime is fine with me since I live about 4 miles from the Dyno and about 7 from the dragstrip lol.



Mark, did you say HVAC is wanting to come to the Tulsa Dyno day??



I got my W2 today so depening on what I get back I might be able to have me some DD2s by then or 3s lol.

Ok you all name the time and place. Hopefully make it more towards April that away I know the Drag Strip is open. Mark Kendrick. Don't Laugh Until you see my Tail Gate 2, 3 Letter Words Same 3 letter words on the tailgate of my Lightning! They Say BYE NOW! I may not post the Highest HP or Have the Fastest Truck On this Board. But I am a lone Ford Guy I love the Cummins they Have a AWESOME engine. But My Truck Looks DAMN GOOD! Jeez I was proud the way she looked Sunday! you should have seen her Friday Sand and Salt all the way to the tops of the Doors. Oh Well Think you Cummins is Small my Lil Lightning only had 334 Cubes and it did 382HP and 476TQ But Wait its a Gasser! Oh and that was with a low Timing chip due to the Lack of High Octane Fuel around here. Oh Well a New Turbo, Transfer Case, and Exhaust System are in the works for my truck and fix the Front end and a surprise or two lurking in the Garage. Engine Number 2 did well low 300HP pass and 650 on TQ aint bad for a chip exhaust and filter. Oh Well if my Powerstroke cant beat ya the other white truck will!

you're right the fords are 'pretty' trucks:-laf Dad has a CC SRW 3500 PSD. Good looking and riding truck. . good mileage and turns like an oceanliner



I'm leaning towards the 20th as well.

Might wanna mention, some of us plan to go racing Saturday night... ... ..... I believe its called Midnight Racing at the strip... .





So if anyone wants to make plans to tag along for that as well.



I think Floor It is going to bring a trailer..... "just in case" someone happens to break something away from home.





Roughly what time do you plan to start the whole thing off, that way we can all plan our drivetime into the day... ... .....

Well the midnight drags usualy open between 10-midnight. . and run until people quit racing. I have come home as the sun comes up before but not often. The start time depends on the turnout for the bracket races really. . I am thinking more on the 10ish side.



Midnight Drags, $10 all the runs you can make. Its basicly like street racing. You choose your race and call them to the track.



Last year they were leaving the boards on so you could see your times, however they don't hand out slips. Its alot of fun to watch what goes down the track. . can be anything from 9 second cars and bikes to 20 second hondas lol. BYOB .



Like I said. . last year the boards were on so you could get your time and MPH. There has been some talk of going back to NO TIMES at the midnights. I will know for sure before this event happens though. Even without times it still good drag racing

Phord Guys!

I got an email yesterday from a ford guy, Dave Bey, who says some guys wanna bring a few ford trucks to the dyno day... told him bring 'em on but we need to know how many. I wanna make sure everyone gets a chance to run if they want to.



How many trucks can be run in a day?



I haven't been to the midnight drags in years. . sounds like a blastOo. Oo.

He E-mailed me also... but I forgot to write him back I am bad about that. I dunno how many can be run in a day. Depends on how many times each person wants to run really. The trucks take a little longer to do since you have to hook up the optical sensor but thats really no big deal.



I believe Jon made sure the track was open and checked with the Dyno shop today. I believe both were going to work out. I am not positive, he or I will post something later tonight!

I've been on a buying frenzy. . I ordered

EGT , tdr badge, and Gtech pro from Genos,

A 3 guage pod from diesel injection service,

a FP and Boost guage from Nordskog,

DD3's, SBC ConFE, PE Comp, B1, Downpipe from Kwikkurt. .



and all but the B1, downpipe and SBC will be waiting for me when I get home Friday!!!Oo. Oo.
