Central Texas meet, Waco or Temple?

Anyone from LA area going to Pahrump?

WOW! that is great. Wish I could have gotten the 12 valve runnin.

Glad to hear that... you did not tell me about the NOS.

Me thinks you wanted to beat me up on that dyno. hehehe

OK then, since I could not make it up there, you guys are more than welcome to come to the Dallas area, we are planning on a dyno day here at Speedworks. Looks we we have a few guys interested already.

HiPerf360, this is a challenge to you. Bring all your majical boxes for your overvalved electron enhanced Cummins and we will see who is the king of HP around these parts. :D

you know IM just kiddin with ya!!

But the offer to come to the dyno run always stands.

Sounds good to me. The pulls I made today indicate that I need a bigger turbo, exhaust and corectly install the nitrous. I might even need a bigger set of injectors:D Oh well its just money... LOL

I dynoed my car instead of my truck. Even with 150HP of Nitrous it put down 388 to the ground... and only 277 on the motor lol. The lowest HP number of the day. I left early and went to the track and put down its best time of 11. 69@112 with a 1. 56 60ft :D. I wanted to dyno my truck but the car was cheaper to dyno and the dyno was on the way to the track, plus I was real curious to see what my $300 short block could do.

The Dyno operator was really cool, he was pumped when Jon put down that 975 ft lbs. Since there was not alot of people there everyone took thier time and had fun. I don't even know how many pulls Jon made but it was alot.

Don, get the ole 12 valve lined out yet??

Im still workin on her right now.

I almost think the timing has slipped. We will see tomorrow morn.

Wish I could have come up.

You guys come on down here and run on the Dallas Dyno. We will no doubt get at least 20 trucks to show. Prolly more!!!

No torque numbers down there though right??? I wish we would have had a better turnout... . the Dyno shop bought an optical sensor for saturday. So we have one up here :D. You have to have one even on the 24 valves  to get torque numbers. Maybe we can rent it from him and bring it to dallas :) lol

properly valved dyno #'s

with the proper number of valves and not enough #2 my goat managed to put down 284. 1hp and 705. 7trq on the factory clutch with 180k miles on it.

On the last run we decided to give it some "happy" gas... increased the dyno #'s to:

302. 4hp and 776. 4 ft-lb @ the rear wheels!!!

I was impressed, but I definately NEED more fuel... and a better clutch of course.

later,

Scott

Im trying to work a deal on getting one from DynoJet, and the local dyno owner here in Dallas.

I will see what I can work out.
