Tulsa Oklahoma Guys Make it Home ok?

Hey Guys just hoping you all made it home ok. I really Enjoyed meeting you all too bad for the situtation the clutch and all. But just cannot wait for the Dyno in Tulsa! Had a meeting of the Masterminds from the KC Black Smoke Gang over dinner that being Big Yellow Iron and Myself you all post it up get it set up for the dyno and were there! Hopefully some LPG is in my near future like in the next 2 weeks! So I may not be the biggest HP truck there but I will make myself known!

Well Scott and I made it back... We were behind the others until our exit, I am sure Jon made it. . he only had a few more miles to go anyways. We are going to take that thing apart tonight and see what happened.



I wonder which cost more?? Whatever broke on Jons truck or the amount of gas he had to feed into that Gasser Dually that dragged him home lol.



It was nice meeting you guys. Now if the weather gods will stay with us and let the Dragstrip be open when you guys are down here

Well I just talked to Jon a little while ago... . Ripped the Center out of the clutch. I went by the dealer and bought him a main seal so I am getting ready to go look at the damage.



BTW the dealer was $3 cheaper than cummins on the main seal. I get somewhat of a discount since my dad is good freinds with one of the parts guys... $49 for the main seal my cost. . $63 from cummins. They look at you wierd when you order a rear main seal for a 2001 model truck lol. First question was "already got over 100K on it"

hmmm, sounds like the same thing that happend to me. once he gets it apart grind the four studs off and pull the cover off the hub. i bet he'll find the teeth all torn off the center and stress fractures everywhere.



I got mine back together last night. the new FE seems to slip more before it seats in. my last one slipped once and then was fine until i started abusing it. this one pulls through with just a flip of the throttle.
