Could someone please enlighten me on tuners and monitors. Is there a tuner and monitor combination that is any good? I was looking at the smarty junior, but it does not appear to have much on the monitoring end. Is that true? Can I use a smarty tuner and still be able to use a digital monitor at the same time? Any brand recommendations? Lastly, I am pretty easy on my truck and don't tow very often or very heavy, but should I look at a transmission controller as well if I install a tuner. Thank you for your help. Luke

Banks IQ is way ahead in the command and monitoring. . I am glad you ask, We just returned for 3K trip in witch I ran the Senior/Jr T-Dog and Banks. . of course the SR added the most HP ,but when towing it was the most unfriendly of the 4, the T-Dog out performed the JR . Banks out performed them ALL,it gain the best mileage climb the hills better was the most friendly plus all the other advantage the SR/JR and the T-Dog don't have. The best Combo was BANKS/T-Dog. In the future I will have EFILive Banks Stack.

The Cheerleader are welcome to comment,But if you are not willing to support your Keystrokes with some $$$$$ . Your just another Keystroke King ONLY... Someone Please call Me out,But only if your willing to open your wallet.

Bully Dog triple Dog... The real big difference between the JR/ and the T-Dog NO de-fueling with shifts or lockup,JR failed in this area. JR would probably be better on stock transmission.

Quad Scout, Banks IQ, Edge Juice Attitude, Bully Dog, and TST all have monitors that will interface with the ECU and pull the info from there. They can all be matched with their own tuner or others like Smarty that doesn't have a monitor. Just a matter of choice. :)

On your transmission, your already in trouble with the 35" tires and a stock trans. Added power is gonna kill it that much faster unless you address the trans parts situation. You can't just add a trans controller to these units as they are mostly hydraulic shifted not computerized. You need to fix the NVH pieces or it will be the next victim on the list.
