Has anybody tried a 64. 70 or a 66. 70 and compared it to the . 80 housings as a single? All i see is everybody useing the . 80 housing. My thought was to use a . 70 housing and mod the gate to flow more out during the w/g cycle. Or maybe even trying a external gate. TIA.
I wouldn't do it... you're basicly moving your surge line to the right... the 66 is already trying to move more air than your engine can injest w/ even an sps hot side... with a smaller turbine wheel and even smaller housing, it's going to be trying even harder to move air at RPM where your engine simply can't accept it
