Page 158 of the latest TDR (issue 43) describes a new product called "Turbo Air Guide" sold by

of Pasco, Washington.



They make it sound like a real whiz bang improvement but $149. 00 for a piece of honeycomb screen seems a little steep.

Anyone know more about this?

I did the search and, for the time being, I think I'll save my money.



Us old retired folks have to be pretty selective.

I was a little more then "skeptical" myself, about the TAG, Tornado or any other device that is inserted into the intake air system. It just seemed rather hooky. I finally gave in and tried the "Airaid" system on my Ford, it was just short of a bitcch to install, but it did make an improvement. Like I said I was less the optimistic, but hey it works. I have no ideal if the TAG works or not, I don't have one or know anyone with one. But I think it might be worth a try.

Look in the next issue of the TDR when it comes and you will find some testing of the TAG done by a TDR writer.

150 bucks? No way. Start talking around 30 or 40 bucks and I'll give it a shot.
