You need to watch what years, unfortunately I can't remember the good ones. I do know some have the mounting bolts inside the airflow cavity. If you look at Roberts pic you can see his bolts are more on the outside of the housing, that's what you want.

I am trying to picture one NOT like mine. You sure it is a Dodge application you are thinking on?

Did you end up with the #16 housing? I have been looking at that turbo for my '01, they recommend a #14 for my application, over the oem 12 that I have now, on my stock HX35.

Tops out at about 32 psi, from level 2-5 on my Edge Juice and RV's. I have been looking at that PDR HX35. The OEM works great and appears to be in good shape yet, so I hate to waste it and buy one before it dies. I do hit 1350 at wot with a load in about a 1/2 mile, that is my defuel setting.

I talked to them at PDR the other day where I got the PDR HX35 I'm running now and the guy there is trying to talk me into buying the rest of the twin kit. He said I've already got the baby turbo. He talked line it would be everything I'd need, however, I've always heard, twins are bad on fuel mileage. He says that 35 already has HX40 compressor wheel and that I wouldn't see much pickup from any HX40. Course I'm sure he's a salesman too. So you think that super HX40 would do the job? It's far cheaper than the rest of the twin kit, that's 2100.00.

Twins haven't affected my mileage at all FWIW.
Larger injectors & the temptation to constantly get into the pedal will though :)
1700rpm or so is the sweet spot for mileage regardless of the fueling mods.

I'm thinking pretty serious about doing the stage 1 kit since I've already got half of it and then sending my injectors back to Dynamite Diesel and have them turned into stage 3's.

I don't believe PDR makes the adapter to fit the HX35 turbine outlet to the hot pipe flange anymore, but there may be a couple high quality adapters available from DieselTuff & others.

As far as injectors - ideally, 60-70 LPM of air in a spray pattern less than 150 degrees is what you'd want with your mildly tweaked stock VE & PDR Hybrid HX35 up top.

I can build you a set of 5x13’s SAC’s @ 148deg’s (best of both worlds....slightly wider spray than stock for faster spool...without the bad haze of the 155deg that DD inj’s have) Ofelas is running a set with his twins.

If you're sending your stock injectors back to DDP, there's only so far a 6 hole nozzle will go.

You need to balance tip integrity/smoke/fuel-air flow, and a 5 hole does it best on a 12v.

I have a set of 4 hole POD's in my truck with a HX Super 40 turbo on a steed speed manifold and a few simple pump mods, my truck gets 18-19 mpg turbo lag is minimal max EGT under load ( around 20,000 gross with trailer ) is around the 1200 deg mark, will make around 43 psi max boost if you floor it but under normal driving will run 4-12 empty an 15-30 with trailer. I can't say about PDR's turbos but stay away from their air filters, they put a metal plug in the inside end of the filter and it fell out of mine and the turbo tried to eat it, the screen they use around the outside is metal and starts to rust if it gets moisture on it.

What ? PDR doesn't make air filters, nor do they sell a filter with a metal screen around it. Please show this filter & a copy of your invoice.

The bolt is something I did to get home after the plug fell out, as for a invoice I don't have one cause I got it from Chip 3 or 4 years ago new still in box

Yes you did.
I recall asking PDR to help you out well after the warranty period, and they sent you a free filter + free shipping.
Is the metal mesh filter the original NIB filter or the replacement one?

Thats the original one, I never got the 2nd as they wanted something stupid like $40 or $50 for shipping, at least thats what the guy I talk to on the phone told me and I just didn't feel like taking a chance on the same thing happening again, but I do appreciate you taking to them on behalf and don't blame you in any way
