turbo and manifold....... what do you think?

So i am thinking of getting a new turbo and manifold combo. i dont tow, and its mostly used as a daily driver. but i love power! but not to much, wife might kill me!:-laf so what do you guys recommend as a new replacement turbo for that kind of driving? im thinking of getting a aftermarked LP, but i only have 20K on this truck. thoughts??

Smaller the better for the turbo. I would recomend the High Tech 62/65/13 S. S.
For the manifold I went with the ATS.

Garrett BB from Harry @ Peak Diesel, and an ats manifold. Lightning fast spool up.

I have the Turbo Re-Source Stage II with an ATS man. It's a Garrett BB, forget the model. I'm still gathering info as to what it can take hp wise. But I can say it spools super fast. At least as quick as stock. And boy does it whistle.

i would say either the garrett stg2 for a ball bearing or the BD super B. both are great dd turbo's that will spool fast w/ your set up, keep egts down and be a great all around turbo. the BD also give your the option later on to upgrade to a twin kit.



as for the manifold you can go w/ BD, it's made by ATS and it a bit cheaper.

Is anybody running a sps 66/14? Is there any problem running this size turbo on the street?

i like the ATS manifold, but it does look like the BD one... . so ATS makes BD's manifolds??? nifty, im looking for a tubo that will bolt to my 5" turbo down pipe and cool blue hose. any of thouse bad boys do that?
