I got a new turbo and the waste gate thing got bent during shipping since they threw it in a box with only 1 small strip of bubble wrap around it. The rest of the unit is perfect. Will it still work ok until the replacement comes? Maybe at least I can get my truck running for now. I would hate to be without it for another week. :{

HX35/40. Also, I am running a comp. Do I need to take the boost elbow off of the old stock turbo and put it on the new one or just leave the new one alone?

That depends on how the wastegate was set-up. Ask your supplier.

Ok, got it installed and test drive went ok. Keep it under 35 psi for now? I can barely hit 31 with my foot into it. I could do that with my stock turbo. I wonder if it is stuck partially open. What max psi should I normally be seeing?

I think 38 -40 would be max for efficency. You should be able to get that with your fueling.
