Duramax over-revving protection???

I'm looking for estimates on h. p. and torque gain per pound of boost pressure increase.

I have an HY35W to bolt on to my 4BT and would like to estimate the h. p. and torque increases I should see over the stock H1C.

I'm looking for estimates assuming no radical changes to the injection settings.

My goal is power with best efficiency, not smoke.

That would be about 70 hp gain for the Turbo change out assuming that I get 12 psi from the H1C and 22 psi from the HY35W. I like that. I hope to also get faster spoolup in the lower RPM range.

You will not see a change from 12psi to 22psi with only a turbo change, you'll need to increase fueling for a 70HP/boost gain.

Yes I understand. No fuel with the extra air is no gain. I meant to say that I wanted to just increase the fuel proportionately to the boost pressure increase; not getting wild.
