Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) turbo check and regular maint

Is there anything that I should be checking on my Hy35 during regular maintenance? If so how would I check it??? (Just don't want to neglect it and destroy something later)

About the only thing...

I can think of is to look and see if there is any foreign material in the intake hose, inspect the compressor wheel and housing to see if they are touching and look for loose or missing exh. manifold bolts.
