I was wondering how all the large chargers used for twins rank in size and performance against eachother? ht3b, ht4c, hx60, B-2, Big Brother and whatever else there is that could be used.....
Dave, Yeah i'd like to get me a set on the two wheeler, just need to figure out what i want to go with. I cant wait to see the red rocket blast through the quarter. Good thing theres no concrete medians or stop lights on the track, you would need a co-pilot (travis) :-laf for the quarter then. Sweet pick by the way.
Thanks for the info on the chargers guys. Now i just have to decide what i can spool good.
I called him the other day. I told him i may stick with my B-1, and he mentioned maybe putting a 60 behind it. I dont know if i could afford to sell mine and just buy a set from him right now. I may end up trying to build a set myself. Probably a bad idea, but i may give it a try. Damn house payment puts a damper on toys.
its not near as hard as it seems. we built a set in a base hobby shop in iceland with out ever seein a set before. it really isnt a big deal, there are plenty of people that will help you out i am sure.
I thought i would buy some or have some built, but dont think my financial abilities will let me go that far so i am going to attempt to build a set maybe with my B-1 and put something BIG behind it
ht4bs are pretty cheap and the 82 can be found reasonable or do my trick. Get a turbo thats thrashed and send it to piers they rework them for like 300 bucks and then your set.
I'm assuming the B2 is a shwitzer? What is a ht4b? What motors did those chargers come on? I originally wanted to try a B2 or big brother with mine but heard i could find a HX-60 easily and would work great. Didnt really know what would work best. I'm going to try to build them myself so just kinda playing it by ear. Thanks for the info.
common everybody lets all pitch in our change and get Lance some twins. With only a 1 dollar donation we will have him doing John Force style burnouts in no time. :-laf :-laf
Someone got a hammer so i can break open my piggy bank :-laf Yeah, i gotta fix that dang one tire fryer problem yet too. Always something. Truck forgot how to start. Its been in the shop for a makeover for 3 weeks now. I'm having withdraws. :{ That dang owl eyes must have those big things looking at something else besides my truck. You would think for the size of those things he couldnt overlook anything. :-laf
not to hijack the thread but maybe one of ya would be willing to explain to me how the numbers on that chart would differ if they where in twins say an hx40/60 setup would i go off the 60's numbers or what. i ask because ive heard that in twins its different then when running a single charger is this true or not
