here pic of it where it belongs. installed same day as the half dozen stg 2 vegas sticks. love the way this rig moves with this combo and the pressure box off. nice low egt too. useing afe proguard 7 filter. the hpc process is known to help temps slightly too. also applied inside the tubes which helps flow as it slicks up the surface. the black coating on the ex side of trbo is hpc too. the tube to the intercoolr is hpc'ed too. it does look nice yep. this turbo is awesome. and the sticks rock too

Hey Muddymess, I think you need a couple more thermocouples in your manifold!



I just finished installing this turbo in my truck this evening, along with the ATS manifold. Man - Keith at DD wasn't kidding when he said everything was a tight fit. And like you, I'm not quite sure if I'm driving a truck or taxiing a Lear jet. On the test drive, I was varying pedal input, listening to the turbo. The guy ahead of me pulled over to the shoulder. I think he thought it was an emergency siren! :--)

Muddy did you think about HPC the exhaust housing too? I could bring the paint I used on my manifold if you want it to look silver like my turbo & ATS (check my pics).



I like the way DD set up the outlet of the compressor with a much nicer bend than the sharp 90-deg of the stocker. Certainly helps airflow a bit.

flyfisha, ken jones gave me a really good deal on this setup. dd's site has the mb103 price. ken went to a lot of work getting the hpc ytreatmnt on too. thanks to ken for treating me right



bob, so far so good. but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i try to be careful to not go wot at lower rpm in od. i had the box on low a few times and that sucka ran like a raped ape crse it runs really strong on just the 2s also i refrained from runnin box on hi.
