Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Turbo-Ex Manifold Part II---more questions

Did some more looking under the hood, the studs could be fine, but should they be threaded into the turbo? I ask because the bolts are on the ex man. side on top. On bottom the bolts are on the turbo side and the studs are threaded into the exhaust manifold. This means that either the turbo is threaded or someone before me screwed this up big time and I never noticed it or had problems from it. The only pic I can find in the Haynes shows the bolts on the turbo side from what I can see. I can't access my service manual because my computer here doesn't want to work with it yet(Vistas). I'll have to wait until wife brings her comp back before I can get on the Service manual. Any info would be appreciated.

Ok, so I've found out that 24 valve motors came that way. How can I get this to work with a turbo that isn't threaded at the base. Do I need new studs, longer ones, bolts, etc? If so, where to get? Anyone know the thread of the studs already installed from the factory? Just covering my bases...

here is a photo of the bolts used. . on the bd install instructions they list them as m10x1. 5 thread pitch by 45mm long i found them at the local hardware store i think they are 50 mm long and work fine.
