Injector Return test and PRV

Hello all, first-time poster, long time follower of the TDR. Been a paying member for about 3 years now. I hope I can be brief and get some good advice from the experts out there.

I had a BD pulse manifold installed about 2.5 years ago and I noticed a high pitched whistle from the Turbo area when getting on the throttle--especially when pulling a load it was more pronounced. We snugged up all the manifold bolts and it still was there. Anyhow long story short I installed a new Pacbrake a few weeks back and the got to investigating the exhaust leak further and finally came to find that it was leaking at the turbo gasket below the manifold.

My main question: Is this a quick replacement and can the gasket be replaced without removing the manifold? I would hope so as there is a very good seal between the head and exhaust manifold as of right now. Also, when I do tackle this repair any pro tips that will make it go smoothly with few headaches?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What is your vehicle, you need to fill out what vehicle, transmission,4x4 etc..., I know on my 01 I changed gasket on my turbo without removing manifold, and going by what I see on my 07 you can too

Oh that's dumb... I thought it would show up in my post. I filled out the truck profile earlier. Anyhow, hope this is better. :) Thanks for the help!

If you can get the bolts loose do not have to remove the manifold. If you round off the head or it is jammed you will have to pull manifold and all. Since you replaced the manifold it is likely the turbo will come lose easily.

Ok sounds good to me! Would it be worth it to replace the V-clamp with a new one while I'm at it too? Just trying to figure out a parts list. Thanks for the advice!
