Anyone test to see if Larry "B's" heat shield actually lowers airbox temp?? And does any one know where or if anyone has a BHAF shield available. Thanks
 
made my own with a piece of sheet metal a curb and a die grinder.

dont have any pics though. I'll try to get some.
 
Not sure about Larry's heat shield, but the addition of most any heat shield will result in lower intake temperatures and lower under hood temps. Both result in additional HP. I decided to lower my temps myself, and fashioned the appropriate shield from heat insulating blankets commonly sold on performance type web sites. One day and the right materials is all you need. I sourced Jeggs and Summit for my supplies, Good Luck

got off my butt and got some pics of the home made heat shield looks like the more expensive ones, and does the same job. The reducer is made from exhaust pipe had one end expanded to fit the elbow.
