I installed a boost elbow And comp I I was checking it out and blew the hose off at the turbo. I dont want this to happen again. Is there anything I can do to keep it together. My boost was around 35# . Thanks Scott

Clean the connections where the rubber meets the metal with acetone or somthing equivalent to remove any grease. Then make sure all your tension clamps are tight from there to the intake horn. Doesnt hurt to check them every oil change.

After you clean them up spray the cheapest hair spray you can find on the connection area and push together while still wet. Use a torque wrench at least once to get a feel for how tight the clamps need to be - 70 inch/lbs. It's a lot tighter than most people would do by feel alone.

Thanks

Thanks for your replies. I will probably replace the hoses and clamps. The ones from Piers look nice. Thanks again Scott
