Just a word to the wise. I recently installed a boost module and elbow to go along with a VA I installed a couple of years ago. I have plenty of boost now (up to 30 lbs). While I was towing my 26' 5er up some steep roads this summer, I heard a sound like I blew a tire. I lost all my boost and power. I did some checking and found one of the hoses going from the turbo to the intercooler had blown out from the clamp. I repositioned the hose and clamp and went on my way. The same thing happened on the next pass, only it was a different clamp. With the extra boost and pulling, be sure your clamps are tight. I checked the clamps often and found they seemed to loosen up, so I put jam nuts on each of the clamps.

Noticed that they loosen too......

When I first put my EZ on I tightened all the clamps. When I changed the injectors I decided to check em all and sure enough some were loosened. I rearranged all of them so I can get a deep socket on them now and check them often. Maybe the double nut is a good idea.

Clamp Fix

The nuts on your clamps are not coming loose. What is happening is a combination of relaxation of the silicone hoses and slight deformation of the clamp itself. This is very common in charge air systems, especially when you start to increase boost pressure. The fix to this problem is a spring loaded clamp. If you look at big rigs and heavy equipment, you will find that they all use them.
