hey guys I need some I got a turbo housing off a stock 96 truck thought it was a 16cm becouse the 16 cast on the side by the exhaust port



went to a shop to day to get a 12cm for me and my friend they showed me were they are marked on the inside of the exhaust port went and got the 16 to see if I could see a differance in size just curious and all 3 of housing have the 16 on the out side and the 12 on the side wich is right thanks George

The number stamped on the inside of the housing is the size number.

If wastegated, it is most likely 12 cm2. Possibly 14 if it has been changed out. Non wastegated is usually 16, 18. 5, or 21. The 7 digit casting number on the side will probably end in 214 for a 12, 934 for a 16, 410 for a 18. 5, 297 for a 21.
