Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) turbo housing ?

1. When buying a bigger turbo housing why are some listed as wastegated and i assume that the others are not. My hx35 has a wastegate but it is located behind and is not attached to the housing except for the elbow tube. Can i buy a non wastegated housing and slip it on and tap a hole for the boost elbow?



2. What does it mean when you say my tourqe is locking up?

Well The Torque is locking up thang is quite simply the torque converter clutch going into lock up.



as for the housing, a Boost elbow is not needed with a non~Wastegated housing as it is simply just that ... . No wastegate to control with an elbow.
