i just installed my new turbo,when i put oil in it to prime it,it did not go down just stayed the same level then went down some and stayed there, does this sound right? or should it flow out?

Did you rotate the shaft by hand? It all sounds normal. Turn the shaft and it will spread the oil.



If it is possible to crank without starting, that would be the ticket to get some oil pressure at the bearings!

You can remove the fuel system relay in the power distribution center (the fuse box under the hood) to keep it from starting when cranking.



But what you described out spreading the oil sounds normal. I spun my wheel for quite a while and the oil level barely went down. You'll be ok.
