I just don't understand. Some guys say their trucks will spin the tires from a dead stop and will beat a Chevy Duramax in a head to head race in stock condition. Others say their trucks can't even spin the tires. How could their be such a difference in every cummins truck produced by dodge. It seems dodge trucks are like a box of chocolates because you never know what your going to get [power wise]

I've never run into a head to head with a D-Max, although I've been waiting. But even when my truck was stock, It had never been a problem showing tailights to a 6. 0L or 7. 3L Ford. One great story, I was at a light with a brand new 6. 0L FX4 or whatever they call it. This kid was about 18 y/o he looks over and asks what I had done. I said it was a bone stock 325/600. He says I take those with ease. Light changes, I get him by about a truck length out the gate and held him there till we shut it down at about 65 or so. We get to the next light and he asks me "Hey what box you got?" At the time I was stock, I said it's bone stock. His girl was all smiles at me, and he seemed kind a ****** at his 6. 0L.

I'm dying to run a D-Max though, these guys are always about 65-70 years old, and never seem to want to run one. But the 6. 0L guys are typically young bucks, and always feel like there is something to prove, but they never learn.

I know on my 05 when you get in it the boost gauge will only come up to about 23lbs. and as soon as you get in 4th gear and about 2400 rpms its like someone light a fire under its @$$ and the boost will come up to about 39 lbs. When im pulling i can get in it and the egt's will get up to around 1350 degrees and as soon as it gets past 23lbs and starts making boost it drops the egt's down to 1100 or so(this is with the mp-8). I dont know whats up with it
