Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Turbo Leaking oil

On my last oil change I noticed a very small puddle of oil on the front of the turbo just inside were the duct clamps on. I have also noticed an oily residue on the boot on the intake side of the intercooler. Is this normal to loose a little oil from the turbo? It is not enough to see a difference on the dipstick in 3000 miles but makes me worry about having a runaway.

i have the same thing happening. took to dealer and they are replacing the turbo under warrenty. They called dodge and they told them to tell me not to drive it till replaced.

it could be sucking oil out of the k&n filter also.

Right now I don't have the time to bring the truck to the dealer. It is not enough to make me worry... ..... to much but if it gets any worse I will have to. As for it being the K&N I noticed the residue on the lower intercooler boot before I put it in and it has been in for 8 months now and I should check it.
