Sorry if these topics have already been beaten to death, but what is the benefit of an aftermarket boost elbow, how do they work, drawbacks, etc? Same questions for a "turbo master"... . I couldn't find it in the links anywhere by that name.

As can be seen from my signature, I'm running a Diablo Puck, do the above items work with the puck or does anyone know?

Thanks.

boost elbows work by restricting the boost available to the waste gate actuator. thus allowing more boost.

If you run a boost elbow you will need a boost fooler, which will fool the ecm into thinking you are not running over ~20 psi boost. if you don't run the fooler you will set codes and could go into limp mode.

from my understanding a turbo master is simply an adjustable boost elbow. but i could not find it in the links section either.

the benefits of a boost elbow include lower egts and better efficiency due to more air.

If anyone has more info or corrections pls post.

Hi guys

I just installed a Turbo Master on my 01. 5 auto.

Takes about 10 minutes to install after the turbo

is removed. Igot it set for stock boost right now.

DTT stuff on the way. Injecters and EZ going in

after that. I hear about 28 to 30 boost is max

for HY35.

Have a good one --Frank
