Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Turbo mix-n-match

Pardon me if I don't have the terminology down pat. What's the difference between a HX35W and a HY35W? Whats the physical difference between an HX35W for the 98. 4s and down and the 98. 5s and up? I know that the wastegate actuator is relocated, but other than that? Is the "cartridge" or bearing housing/center section interchangeable between the various incarnations of the HX35 and HY35?

I don't think they are interchangeable because the exhaust sides are completely different. I do know the exhaust wastegate actuator is hard line on the HY and must use that J-hook gismo to disable it.
