Turbo noise

In my never ending search to hear my mighty Cummins, I was wondering if cutting a 4" hole in the cowl would help? If I remember right, some people said that the Psychotty air system really enhanced the turbo noise. I tried removing the foam between the fender and the door, but I didn't notice any difference.



If this hole would help, is there anything to look out for when drilling it? Could two be put in? BTW, I am using the Moparguy filter.

Well...

My understanding is that you need a sort of "Super Psycotty" thingy. Essentually it is a tube that surrounds the filter and butts against the cowl.

BTW I cut holes in my airbox and it's WAY LOUD

my airbox too, looks like swiss cheese on the bottomn part. the opened up exhaust also transmits the turbo noise out the back. the turbo noise was too loud for me with the silencer ring out, so after the above mods, i put the silencer ring back in. surely can hear the turbo when it gets spooled up!!
