Does anyone know where to get a larger radiator for our trucks?

How can you tell if you have blown one? My truck has been blowing some grayer than normal smoke here in the last week or so. It only smokes grayish/black when it usually is supposed to, no smoke besides that. It will still roll the black smoke, and SOP still feels the same. Boost is pretty much normal. Checked the play and although it has some(knew that) it does not touch the housing and it spins good. Have not really noticed any huge oil consumption, hard to tell that, because I have a couple minor leaks. Am I just being paranoid, as usual?

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

Pull off the boot on the compressor side of the turbo and check the inside for an oil film. If it is leaking you will probably see a substantial film. When mine went it filmed the tube and boot almost all the way to the intercooler. Caught it in time before it went farther. I also had a lot more noise, a high pitched squeal\wine, from the exhaust pipe at an idle. Do you get any turbo bark when you really get after it and start the mosquito killin'?

How did the wheel bearing issue come out?

I just checked and I didn't see any oil. I'll check that again in a day or so. I really don't get any turbo bark, even when I let off real quick after a hard run. I'll just watch it and probably if it is that I'll just run it till it is about gone, then I can have a really good excuse to get that PDR Hx35:D :D

I let somebody that has done work for my family do my bearings, I got a pretty good deal, they said to bring it back if I had Any problems. After I get through with college I will have the expertise to do about anything to my truck. ( I hope)

Thanks. Steve
