Sounds intresting i have 2. 3 liter whippel pushing piers street strip twins with don machs stage 7 just finnished running test will post some numbers tq hp when i get them ran off of clutch shuts off and on with psi switches have not ran it at top end.
 
with that setup you must be a supernatural being in Scandinavian legends. :cool:



Isnt a whipple charger a twin screw supercharger? how are you getting air past the vanes with the clutch shut off???? @ . 812 CFM per revolution you must be overdriving the crap out of it to be using it for off idle boost. I figured about 1. 5:1 or better to even equal the CFM the HT3B can produce. I'd like to hear about it! :confused: lets hear some numbers and more about the rest of you truck.



The fourth gear vibration you spoke of in your other post is most likely due to having an undampened clutch. With that much HP you must have a dual disk to hold it



Mine will transfer harmonics around 17-19K in fourth.

Welcome to the TDR and post up some numbers for us.
 
That doesnt have twins on the other side, just a single charger. See the air filter and stock boot? no clutches either. must be a first round version.

It's the TST Powermaster 30, I see you only have the 2 :-laf :-laf :-laf



OK, how about 1700-1900RPM's?



Jim, If my suspicion is correct, I think my first sentence will "break it down" for ya. look up Troll in the Encarta (north american) dictionary. :-laf
 
with a assessory drive clutch, and cut off valve, turbos have there own air intake, and so does the supercharger, with a couple psi switches you can completely bypass the supercharger. nobody says its perfect with no glitches. with the right minds put together

i will difinently figure out what do not work. which is more than those who just talk about

about what they havent tried
 
you are right the whipple is a screw type charger. i was running a SBC DD and am in the process of converting to automatic. I pulled out the five speed thats why I know what the problem was with my transmission. lost fith because I stripped fith gear hub, also the thrust bearing behind the input shaft was trashed causing the viberation in fourth, have a idea of what I am doing, only because I manage to break everything I touch and have to do it more than once
