Hello All

I've never posted here before, I've been a member for a year. I have a 2002 2500 HO with 6 speed 65K. I just went on a trip and ran into a problem I can't figure out and I'm looking for help. After a long down hill run in the mountains, my truck will not respond, like the dead pedal but I have 14 psi

fuel presure but no turbo pressure. I can put the clutch in rev the engine, but the turbo will not come up. After sometime the turbo spins up and everything is fine. The truck is factory, I've changed the APS at 45K, I've

check and have no codes.

Do you have an exhaust brake that is sticking? SNOKING

That's what my '99 was doing for the last few months. 14. 7 psi at idle, 12. 5 @2500 RPM @ 70MPH, then the pedal would go dead and boost drop to 5-8 psi. Ended up I needed a new VP and LP. Good presure, just no volume feeding the VP.

got the same problem. I needs a vp44. you could try checking your codes with your key. on and off three times ending in the on position the third time and you might have p0216. dying vpp.

Thanks for the Help

Hello All

Thanks for all the information, I just went out and checked the codes and

got a PCU 1693 and ECU216, it is the pump, I was hoping this was not the issue. Now I need to take it into the dealer.
