I pulled the duct off the front of the turbo yesterday when i was removing it to install my thermocouple. I noticed that if i spin the shaft once in a while it feels like the bearings are catching. It will spin a couple times then get really hard to turn for a second. If i spin it and let it go it will spin a few seconds and then just stop. Is this a big deal?
Ive been trying to figure out why this thing is so gutless, but im pretty sure its an injection pump problem (little black smoke). Im getting a maximum of 14psi boost under full load and my egt's wont go past 900F.
I have a brand new set of 215 injectors and a #10 fuel plate kit from Piers that im installing this weekend. Hopefully it does something... .
