Hardwood floor questions

That feeling the TDR is passing you by . . .

I have the software that I bought last year to do 2005's taxes. Do I have to buy new software do to 2006's taxes, or can I use the software I already have?

The big 2 are Turbo Tax and TaxCut. The latter is a product of H&R Block - I've used it for a number of years, filed electronically and never had a problem. Both, AFAIK, offer audit protection.

And, yes, you have to buy a new version every year.

Have used it for the last 8 years. Just save the files to a cd and errase all the data from your computer (hackers). Did mine last week in an hour and money's in the bank 4 days later.

I've used TurboTax quite a few times now. A few years ago, I bought TaxCut instead and really did not like it as well. Maybe I'm just used to the other, but it seemed like it was easier to use. I've learned to look for the cheapo version at Sams Club. Federal with a free state download for ~$35. E-file costs a few bucks extra.
