Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) turbo upgrade

If i were to upgrade to a 16cm turbine housing non wastegated from TST, could i use the commpressor wheels from my WH1C? Or would i have to go with something else?

If your signature is up to date,I would not go to the 16 housing. Yes to answer your question,it will work with your wheels.

unless you have alot of fuel to push that turbo along, it's going to have alot of lag, and make less boost. if you do have egt problems due to fuel increase, then the 16cm2 non-wastgate would be a good upgrade. takes longer to spool up but helps alot on the top end. otherwise keep the smaller housing on for now.

If you want to upgrade, go to a 14 cm that is wastegated. You will have less lag than a 16 and will be able to flow just as much when the wastegate opens up. Non-wastegated housing build heat on the top end.
