Turbo upgrade

Have 91 dodge w250 1st gen (nic.) what year junkyard truck turbo would be close to hx40 if you can help thanks.

If you have a junk yard with buses of mid size trucks, you can get a HX40 from a 8.3 cummins, although the standard 40 is not that great. if you want something good get a Super 40, or at least get a better compressor wheel for the standard 40.

An HY35 or HX35 off of a 3rd gen will work quit nicely also. Frequently easily found on Ebay.
