When I start my truck the voltage is reading about 11 voltes. The solenoid starts clicking and if the lights are on the will flicker when the solenoid clicks.

When I take off the Turbo starts to whine between 20 and 25 mph. The voltage will then go to 14 + voltes to where it is supposed to be. After the truck warms up the voltage still reacts at low voltage when I start it up.

It will go up to 14 + voltes after if reach 20 to 25 mph. Can I be helped?

its normal

that clicking sound is probably your intake heater grid cycling on and off. When it turns on there is an enourmous strain on your batteries and alternator.

BManis is correct. The charging system is temporarily bypassed until the intake heaters are done cycling. As far as the turbo whine you here (I would call it a howl) I would say this is normal. My 2002 did it and my 2004 does it also, but after a minute or 2 of driving it whistles as normal. Hope this helps.

From service manuel--

BATTERY TEMPERATURE SENSOR

DESCRIPTION

The Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) is attached

to the battery tray located under the battery.

OPERATION

The BTS is used to determine the battery temperature

and control battery charging rate. This temperature

data, along with data from monitored line

voltage, is used by the ECM to vary the

battery charging rate.

Just an added note - if your batteries are good you will

get the delay in charging during cool or cold weather.

Weak batteries you will notice they will start to charge

sooner or right away due to extra low battery voltage.
