Turbo Whistle?

Hello all got a question...

I was at the grocery last night ;and there was a Ford 6. 0 across from me that was leaving...

It was heavily modded, Lifted, aftermarket exhaust, lots of accessories etc. etc.

Well, when he took off, his turbo whistle was so loud, it was the predominant sound above the engine and exhaust (which sounded a lot like my 5")

It sounded like a Turbine.

Just curious if aftermarket turbos are that much louder than stock? or?

I've noticed most 6. 0s with no mods other than straight exhaust sound like you describe.

Even if my sps 66 didn't add a ton of power, and say it actually lost power. . I'd still run it. I LOVE the jet engine sound. When I pull up along sound walls, I roll the right windows down just to hear the whistle. .



Yep, bigger turbos with larger exhaust housings, lose the kitty, add a better muffler, and these cummins sound awesome.
