is there need for twins at the 500-550 hp mark? i was looking at getting hotjuice and stacking it with the ez or perhaps my quad. then either adding propane or water/meth. What are your thoughts? If i dont need twins what would be a good single turbo that would still be streetable and could handle towing?

I think I have saw quite a few 62mm turbos make 500+ and be cool enough to race around.

I made 604 with a 66mm turbo, and maxed at 1320* on the load dyno

I would call HTTurbo, or Industrial Injection and get thier take, but I bet a single will do you just fine... .

Sps64

I wouldn't go with a 62, I would go with either the SIlver bullet "SPS 64" or the SPS 66... You'll have enough fuel to push those real well... Call industrial Injection and ask for Shane or Brady 1 800 955 0476. Don't get me wrong I love the hell out of my SPS 62, but you'll be pushing it's limit's with 550hp a 64 would be awesome... :-laf

CBurnside - I was able to dyno 500. 08 hp with a Hot Juice/Ez combo last fall. I was running a PS62. The EGT's were getting up there (1400+), and I was getting a lot of defueling from the Hot Juice when turned up.

That said - It was an excellent daily driver, and I towed (with the boxes set low) with no EGT problems.

After changing some of my horsepower goals - I began to shop around for a different air supply. I ultimately settled on a set of twins - and I will tell you I don't regret it. As RDietze states about, there is little comprimise - good spool up (not quite as fast as before, but close), amazing mid and high range cooling. My EGT's rarely go above 1050 with the PPE/Hot Juice/EZ stack on full board.

Obviously, this is only my opinion. I would recommend twins if they are in your budget.

Not sure - I'm going to put her on the rollers April 29th (at the Spring Fling in PA). We'll see how much the turbo change, PPE, and injectors give me.
