Hey guy's wondering about getting a stock turbo rebuilt?Mine is making a high pitch sound from the exhaust side and is heard through the exhaust. So I'm wondering if I am better off money wise getting mine rebuilt or just getting one from say HTT or I. I. . If I get mine rebuilt I would like to get it upgraded somewhat if possible. I tried HTT website but it's screwed up,so any info/suggestions are wanted. Thanks

well in my opinion, i think if your going to spend the money to have it rebuilt, you would be better off upgrading your turbo to something better, especially if you plan on adding more mods to your pickup.

I was thinking of injectors after this,a ways down the road but if rebuilding is close to the cost of a new one I'll definitely go new . Does anyone have a guess on what a rebuild runs on a stock one?

300. 00 and up depending on what you need done.

If your wanting to put some more fuel to it use your money and upgrade the turbo to something better. It will be money well spent!
