My brother put one of these on his International tractor 600 HP diesel Cat engine and claims it works. Not sure they even make them for our trucks but was wondering if anyone had or how about opinions? I normally look at these kinds of things very skeptically but since my brother was so positive thought I would ask. Oh the reason he tried it is a person he knows who has a large number of tractors use them and he said it worked for them.

HOW IT WORKS

Advanced Fuel Delivery Greatly Improves Combustion Efficiency

When fuel enters the combustion chambers, the fuel injector creates a fine and wide mist of the fuel; this is known as atomization of the fuel. The finer the fuel is atomized, and the wider the mixing of the oxygen and fuel in the combustion chamber. The larger the use of the entire piston surface area, the more efficient and powerful the combustion event. This results in improved fuel economy and improved horsepower development, with very little smoke or soot. In addition, carbon development in the combustion chamber is minimized and oil contamination is greatly reduced. When the fuel injector on a diesel engine is unable to atomize fuel efficiently due to temperature, viscosity, or too rapid of a load change, the injector will stream the fuel rather than atomizing it. This condition creates an extremely inefficient burn, resulting in poor fuel economy, less horsepower, and black smoke with overall poor engine performance.

The TURBO3000D works to improve atomization by creating a change in the travel pattern of the fuel, prior to the fuel injector. TURBO3000D provides the fuel injector with an efficient delivery of fuel reducing all of the effects which create streaming at the fuel injector. Fuel rail pressure equalization is also achieved by this change in fuel travel action, leading to a smoother idle, and a quieter running engine.

The TURBO3000D improves combustion efficiency in a totally natural way, without the use of magnets, electrical fields, precious metals, or chemical additives that might release harmful elements of their own into the air we breathe. The TURBO3000D is precision machined in the USA, from high-grade brass, stainless steel and aluminum. It has no moving parts, is maintenance-free, installs as easily as an in-line fuel filter, and should last indefinitely.

Do you got a picture?

I went to the website tonight... . looks like snake oil to me, and it got me to thinking, how can a tiny inline metal object improve fuel flow rates, when the fuel is already pressurized at over 20,000 psi? Then I saw this on their site:

"The TURBO3000D should not be installed on a line containing more than 350 p. s. i. constant pressure. If constant operating pressure is more than 350 p. s. i. , the TURBO3000D should be installed on the inflow line before it enters the injector pump. "

I don't think it's worth the price, which I couldn't find on their site.

Everyone truck I put one on saw little or no difference in fuel milage. We have removed most of them so they could be sent back. And yes they have kits for our trucks, make shut to put a support of it. (broken fittings for vibration)

Sorry I lost track of this thread!!! Okay I don't know if snake oil or not. Just was told it worked from my brother but then it was on a 600 HP Cat with dual turbo I believe a new 2006 International tractor and he installed this thing himself.

Bob thanks for an explaination on how it works had NO CLUE personally.

Spooled-up - In this application it was like a huge in line fuel filter connected to the input to the injection pump.

Chuckwilson - the way this one installed on my brothers tractor I don't see how a connection would break. However, saying that, the constant vibration these trruck shave on parts tend to break things unless properly designed and installed.

Don't think I would buy one personally without a lot of testimony on how well it worked from those I would trust. I can only pass on my brothers comments who was driving the 48 states with on this tractor. I think even if it worked on that application does not necessarily mean it would work on ours. As don't know of any dyno information on our engines. Fact I have yet to find anyone using one!!!!

Hey guys thanks for the replies this kind of thing is what makes this site and membership all worth the money. Brother say I can have the one of hias tractor as he just sold the truck and went to work for a company as a line driver. Semi-retirment getting to old to run the 48. Don't think this thing this thing would on my truck it is huge physically so I said no. Got enough troubles with our fuel systems without adding an unknown in the mix.
