turbos

was wanting to go with piers twin set up now i starting reading about the bd twins sounds pretty good whats yalls opinions

I run a big single turbo. Piers has a good setup going for big numbers. I haven't seen real big numbers on the BD but they are more of a towing twin I think.

BD's probably wont win at the dyno (600 HP) but for towing and driving I hear they are incredible. I have seen a few trucks go into the 12's with the BD's so they still are no slouch. The Piers kit has been around for a while, tried, tested and proven. There are a buch of guys here running both kits.

There are quite a few guys running them and really makeing some nice numbers. I agree that they won't take the dyno lead but they'll run like a champ on the road and make good cool power.

I think they are good turbos. I think they are limited to 600 hp or so, fuel only. they are good for towing heavy, and keeping cool.
