The TIPM should be able to be "reflashed" (reset by dealer) at a much lower cost then that!! That being said, it can only be reset about 3 times before it DOES need to be replaced at a much higher cost.

I was going to get one until I realized that my 2005 truck uses the standard PDC (power distribution center), not a TIPM.
