Turn indicators gone wild but do not flash. Took it to dealer and said it's the TIPM. Wants $584 plus instalation. Has anyone had this happen??

The TIPM should be able to be "reflashed" (reset by dealer) at a much lower cost then that!! That being said, it can only be reset about 3 times before it DOES need to be replaced at a much higher cost.

Here is more to read on TIPM and what they do and why they sock--

IMPORTANTLY, no matter what route you go, think about getting one of these high quality "TIPM Savers" that a TDR member is making and selling--

I was going to get one until I realized that my 2005 truck uses the standard PDC (power distribution center), not a TIPM.

That scenario does not hold true for all years;)
