How important is 5'er (or TT) wheel/tire balancing?

New 2006 3500 DRW today.

Anyone here have one of these. I like the cleanliness of it. What are your thoughts... good or bad.

I have the B&W Turnover ball hitch and the fifth wheel companion hitch. When I was looking for a hitch, I had to have one with no rails in the bed as I carry a lot of cabinet grade sheet goods in my truck for projects. With the fifth wheel hitch out and the ball turned over, there is nothing to grab the lumber.

I also like that I can easily (by myself) remove the hitch from the bed. It breaks down into two pieces and neither one is so heavy that I can't easliy do it by myself.

The locking jaws work well, and the hitch is a four way pivot design.

I've never had an occasion to use the gooseneck ball, but if need be, it's there.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I got another truck.

I have Diamond hitch, very clean no handle in wheel well. Four inch hole in bed. Check their ADD in TDR.

I've got the B&W also. I need it because I tow a fifth wheel sometimes and use a small slide-in camper for fishing trips at other times. The clean bed for the slide-in is a must. The B&W is very well made and pretty easy to install yourself. The only drawback is with the companion fifth wheel hitch it is one of the more expensive units. I feel it was worth it though.

Another vote for the B&W setup. If you need a clean bed when not using a hitch, a gooseneck hitch and a quality 5th wheel hitch as well, it's an excellent choice.
