Turn signal/headlight dimmer and wiper control

Help! I've got a 1990 1st gen and the turn signal control will not control the headlight high/low beams. I can pull back on the control stalk and get both hi and lo beams on, but I cannot select hi OR low by pushing forward. Where can I get a new/old and functioning switch? I've looked but can only find a switch with the emergency flasher function included at the top.

Sounds like you need a headlight switch that is the way mine have acted when they went out in the past.

Are you referring to the headlight switch on the dash?

Yes Sir. Every time mine have failed I would have what you describe, no headlights unless the turn signal dimmer switch on column was pulled back.

I have headlights, but no ability to select the high beams unless I pull back on the turn signal switch, which powers both high and low beams. Sorry I didn't explain better.

PartsGeek.com has what you need there, had the same problem once.

The switch on the steering column is called a Multi function switch and should still be available from any Chrysler Corp. dealer. That switch was used for quite a few years. You will need a locking torx bit to change it.
